None the less, ISIS is a threat that cannot be ignored, is not a threat going away anytime soon with our current "Whack a Mole" strategy of targeted airstrikes in the name of helping our global interests in the Middle East. If ISIS is going to be put to an end, if we are going to end the strife and civil war taking place in Syria, if we are going to restore some semblance of balance in the Middle East, the time has come for significant American Troops on the ground in the Middle East. This insidious threat to the Middle East, and to the world must be eradicated, and like it or not, America and our military on the only military force that can take on ISIS and its growing threat to global safety and security and win.
Last weekend America was attacked on our own soil by the disease that is ISIS. Does it really matter if the attack was merely inspired by ISIS, or if ISIS was intimately involved in the attack? Does any one believe this is just one isolated attack, that we are, for the most part safe from this cancerous disease that is rapidly spreading to more and more locations around the world? ISIS like cancer requires major surgery, not sporadic airstrikes targeting small handfuls of their soldiers and leadership. You do not rid yourself of cancer hoping that it will go away. You have to go to war against cancer, have to be aggressive in your battle plan to rid your body of this insidious disease, and if we are going to rid ourselves, our nation of ISIS, the time has come for aggressive no holds barred war against this pretend "Nation State".
Some would suggest America work at building a coalition...curious here, how has that gone for us? Maybe it is time for America to flex its muscles, time for us to go it alone, time to show the world just what American Might truly is. Like it or not, having the best military in the world does not mean much if you are not willing to unleash it when situations on the ground and around the world demand it. Like the old adage says, USE IT OR LOSE IT. Lets not box the enemy in, or try to contain the enemy, or slow down its forward movement. Let's eradicate the enemy with a no holds barred full on assaulr on them wherever they are, wherever they try to hide. Lets put one million American fighting forces on the ground in the Middle East and clean house starting with ISIS. If America does not kill the disease that is ISIS where it is now, it is only a matter of time until we are fighting them on America's shores, and last weekends attack in Texas should have driven that fact home to our politicians, and our generals at the Pentagon.
